CURFEW
Three boys who are friends go out to play one Friday afternoon, but disappear. Police, Parents and the whole city are in an uproar trying to find these two brothers age 12 and 13 along with their friend who is also twelve. Follow the story through the eyes of one boy who is afraid that he might not live past the weekend.
About the Book
Rev. John Green Jr. was my pastor, friend, father figure, advisor, traveling buddy, spiritual advisor, marriage counselor, tutor, mentor and leader. When I heard that he had advanced stages of Alzheimer’s I could only handle the grief by reflecting on the special times we shared as members of Christ Baptist Church and Co-laborers in the gospel ministry. The Vanishing Sower reflects on a few of those moments that stand out and the impact they have had on my life as and adult. John Green went on to be with the Lord in July of 2009, but a book, nor a memorial service can in any way capture the impact that he had on so many lives for so many years.
